Introduction
Parisah is an experienced litigation attorney specializing in managing probate, trusts, and elder law disputes from inception through trial.
Expertise
Parisah has focused her legal career on trust and estate litigation since becoming licensed in 2015. Her practice primarily involves trust and will contests, fiduciary accounting disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, financial elder abuse matters, and other inheritance-related disputes. Even in law school, she demonstrated her commitment to this area of law by volunteering her time as a certified law clerk obtaining temporary elder abuse restraining orders for various clients through Chapman University’s AlonaCortese Elder Law Center.
Parisah has handled multiple high-stakes probate and civil litigation matters. Most recently, she served as trial counsel in a complex, lengthy breach of fiduciary duty matter that resulted in a complete victory for her client. She has also successfully handled numerous trials, evidentiary hearings, and law and motion matters, securing elder abuse restraining orders to protect vulnerable seniors and enforcing beneficiary rights in contested trust and estate disputes.
Honors & Awards
Parisah’s accomplishments have earned industry recognition. She was selected for the Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2024-2026, an honor awarded to attorneys through a rigorous, multiphase process that includes peer nominations, independent research, and evaluations by a highly credentialed panel.
She is also recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in the areas of elder law and litigation- trusts and estates since 2026.
Community & Pro Bono
Since 2026, Parisah has served as a volunteer mediator, assisting parties in resolving contested trust and estate disputes outside of trial. An active leader in the Orange County trusts and estates legal community, Parisah has sat on the board of the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) Trusts & Estates Section since 2018 and served as Chair in 2025. She has also held roles as Judicial Liaison and Program Chair for the Section.
Parisah is also a member of the Orange County Women Lawyers Association.
Education
Parisah earned her B.A. in Criminology, Law, and Society from the University of California, Irvine, graduating magna cum laude (2012). She obtained her J.D. from Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law(2015), with an emphasis in advocacy and dispute resolution. During law school, she honed her litigation skills through mock trial competitions and externships focused on trusts and estates law.
She has completed extensive mediation and trial advocacy training, including advanced coursework in dispute resolution and civil litigation advocacy. In 2019, she graduated from the Orange County Bar Association College of Trial Advocacy (Civil).
Parisah is licensed to practice law in California state courts. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her toddler.
OCBA Board of Directors Candidacy Statement
I am honored to be nominated for the OCBA Board of Directors.
For the past ten years, I have practiced exclusively in trust and estate litigation at a small firm. For eight of those years, I have had the privilege of serving on the Board of one of the OCBA’s largest Sections, Trusts & Estates, in a variety of leadership roles, including Chair, and currently, Immediate Past Chair.
Serving the Trusts & Estates Section has given me an incredible sense of community. Even practicing at a small firm, I have always felt supported by mentors, colleagues, and friends in the OCBA community who have invested in my growth. As a mother of a toddler with another baby on the way, I especially value a legal community that supports attorneys not only in their professional development, but also through the many demands of life outside the practice of law. The OCBA brings together attorneys from every stage of their careers and from practices of all sizes, creating a welcoming place to learn, connect, and thrive.
Throughout my service on the Board of the Trust & Estates Section, I focused on making a meaningful and practical impact. I strengthened communication between our judicial officers and our members by creating regular opportunities for judges and practitioners to discuss emerging issues in trust and estate law. In 2020, I led our Section’s successful transition to virtual programming, ensuring members remained informed, engaged, and connected during a challenging time.
Beyond the Section, I have proudly served for the past two years as a Co-Chair of the OCBA Charitable Fund's Raise Your Glass Auction Committee, helping raise funds for local non-profit legal organizations and expanding access to justice. Last year, our committee secured a record number of auction items, contributing to the event's most successful auction to date.
Serving the OCBA has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career and I am grateful for the opportunity to broaden my reach, and bring the same commitment, energy, and collaborative spirit to the OCBA Board of Directors in the service of all OCBA members.
I would be truly honored to earn your vote.
